Reviews: I love the ocean or anything that smacks of water. God at His finest! In 1991 3 storms off of Gloucester, Massachusetts provided the backdrop of the true story, what has been The Perfect Storm ever in the recorded history of the USA (I could be proven wrong tho), but the name says it all, I believe!
Waves are God's way of saying "I am here," and boy, you can hear it when the rogue wave, a downpour of heavy rain, monstrous mountains of wave after waves plummeling your boat or for the people on land that has a good connection with the people on that boat. I can see why they have churches sprouting up along the coast because when it is during a storm, God's Face is the only thing between you and Him and waves!
I have seen the film before on DVD, but now with Blu-ray. Man, it is tumultuous when viewed this way. Waves crashing in on every side of you, so-much-so that you can barely breathe! |
