Reviews: Burt Reynolds as James Bond? For awhile yes, it was, but fortunately Roger Moore was found.
About 1:35 into the film, when Capt. Pepper and all the police forse in Louisanna are speeding down the road next to the river with 007 in a motorboat being chased by "bad-guy" motorboats, Pepper really gets upset at some Model T truck slowing driven by an aging fellow. The truck pulls over, allowing the police cars to go around him. Then, in a little while the motorboats drive across the road and end up on the opposite side of the river, right when the speeding police cars get there and the cars end up with smashing into one another. Along come the Model T truck. The truck stops and honks his horn, telling them to get out of the way.
We, as Christians, need to take it slowly, making sure each T is crossed and each I is dotted and, despite the rush everyone else is going thru we, like the Model T truck, drive right on thru.
