Reviews: Why Clint Eastwood is a Man with No Name in this trilogy? The first he is name Joe. This one he is named Monco. The last he is named Blondie. That’s a name, but all 3 films it is called The Man with No Name. Oh well!
Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef (High Noon — villain in Gary Coopers film — and Escape from New York —with Kurt Russell) are Bounty Hunters, or to use the phrase in the film, Bounty Killers. Like so many buddy-films like Lethal Weapon, is is good. Sergio Leone is stepping up his arsenal in really showing the West (watch Once Upon a Time in the West); and Ennio Morricone getting up to, what I consider the best of the film composures.
Good film. |
