Reviews: Let’s see now, what was I doing at the time this film came out? I think I was in Chattanooga, TN, at Tennessee Temple High School, tho now Tennessee Temple College is now defunct, out-of-business. And I think it is the first time my dad got a glimpse of my back. Scoliosis was creeping in my spinal cord, so bad that it required a stiff back-brace that cam up and made my neck unmovable. Then it required 2 surgeries in Atlanta to somewhat straight it out (I have the long pin that they attached to my spine still — my mom kept it and gave it to me a couple of years ago).
Anyway, back to the film. I never saw it until I saw it on DVD. I give it 3-stars, which means GOOD, but not 4 or 5 stars. It is okay. I know that special effects were in the form of paintings and oh, the scene on the elevator and the “blood” spattering — it was awful! Heston could have waited for a much bigger film! |
