Reviews: I purchased the Blu-ray edition of…
To Kill a Mockingbird (1962) ****
Filmed from the perspective of a young girl, she belongs to Atticus Finch (Gregory Peck) who plays a lawyer who has to defend a black man of rape. Music, cinematography, acting all under the deft hand of Robert Mulligan, excellent film.
Towards the end of the film you will notice a male actor in his first film (earlier he did television). He plays Boo Radley. The look in his eye says what pages of dialogue say, and gives further proof that film can be better than a novel!
Watch it and be immersed!
